Over the last number of months Willy McCauley has been working with Victor Reijs, one of Ireland's experts on Newgrange. Victor was given the unenviable task of reproducing the Newgrange "Winter Solstice Phenomenon" at Blackrock Desert. To make this work, Victor had to go to enormous lengths to calculate, using GPS waypoints and archive photography, the exact angle of the sun's path at Burning Man.
